Stuart Simpson

Nationality: Scottish but no resemblance to Jimmy McJimmy
Age: At 32 still young enough to be in the cheap intermediate category! Sorry old timers
Height: 6ft but 6ft 1in if I've just hit a drive over the ridge on the first
Interests: Any and every sport, sunday dog walking with my fiancée and the insanity workout!
Favourite Golf Courses: Goodwood, Blackmoor (UK) & Champ de Batille (France)
Best Round: 1 over at Lee-on-the-Solent
Current Handicap: 13.1 - after a three year break and a poor first year back playing, I found it doesn't come back quickly and you do need to practice!
Golf Problem: A dirty block. I try to play a fade and leave the club face open
Aim for 2014: Get my handicap back down to single figures - 9.4 will do me nicely
Most Likely to Say: Far too many words to mention but generally any swear word will do!
Favourite Slang Term: An Elton John: Big bender that lips the rim (see other slang terms here)
Favourite Golfer: Justin Rose

More About Me: The newest recruit to the 3-men-in-a-bunker, I'm the Head of Quality & Curriculum for a range of football academies in the South of England. I'm a qualified PE teacher who loves a wide variety of sports, even the rubbish ones you find on Eurosport at 2 in the morning.

I used to run a Golf Academy where I had students representing England, Sussex and Hampshire on a regular basis. Also used to be the South & South-East College Golf Co-ordinator.
